Warranty

The warranty on my td5 expires in summer, I'd thought about selling and getting a newish one but for the first time ever looks like defenders are starting to depreciate a fair bit. I believe a warranty with Land rover is about a grand a year, considering my technical skills are limited but I don't work the vehicle too hard is this worth the money. I have a work colleague with a Disco whose engine needed replacing a couple of months after the warranty expired. Opinions please, thanks.

Do a search on the internet for 'independent car warranty'. You will be amazed at the number of companies out there that will give you a decent warranty for around £250.
