Has anybody any idea what I have done wrong, as really getting frustrated with it all now.

Go to the home page and click on Technical archive, click on Wammers " eas how to " guide and you will find the link to the Rave manual, or do a search for Rave link as the link has been posted many times.:)

I was going to say when removing stuck rings don't use a 2 lb hammer and cold chisel. Ooops to late. :D:D:D:D
Cheeky pair of feckers...

Gutted about the pistons I have to say....I was using a tiny drift to push the rings up and out, and ping it went on the 3rd piston and dinked the edge of the land....then the 4th piston snapped.....I was being super gentle and taking my time too.....

Happens Ant, some you win some you lose unfortunately. Looks like you may need some valves also. Hell of a job to take on when that badly water damaged. ;);)
