Wanted - front series 2 propshaft

My 88 Series 2 front propshafts got a very tired spline joint.

Anybody got a spare one kicking around, even if it needs a couple of UJ's replacing.

Swap for beer tokens or biodiesel.

They are not expensive to buy new.

what route do you take to work, what times do you start / finish
and whats your bio prices and quantities?

and is the prop on or off the motor?

Neither is a Jag XK if you're called Beckham.

Anyway I'd rather recycle than buy new where poss.

number noted then deleted!

as with most things recycled, its not new and as such may not be any better that the one you have. i tend to mix and match ends that have the least play, then put new on and leave the old ones laying around to add confusion next time i pick them up.
should really chuck them out.

i have an assortment if you want to browse, and if we find a decent one it can be changed on the ramps.
let me know when your available if you want to do this, as i look after my son (2 1/2 years) and its easier if our lass is in to look after him!

Best bet for me would be to change on a Friday afternoon, as I finish work at 1pm Fridays.

Other than that would have to be weekend jobby.

The Landy's only a project vehicle, so don't need to keep on road, although its useful for my oil collections and trips to tip.

Oh dear. It would seem that my slightly disgruntled reply to markconnor33's sarky comment regarding my helpfulness has resulted in him sending me a pm to tick me off about my use of unnecessary bad language. I think you'll find that the odd naughty word does find it's way onto the pages of this forum occasionally. It's just a reflection of real life and the everyday language that you might hear out in the street or in the workplace. I'd prefer it if when someone dissaproves of something I've said or done in an open forum that they let me know in that open forum, rather than by pm, so that I can answer in an open and honest way just as I would if we were face to face. I'll try not to upset you further by posting the response I feel necessary. Suffice to say it begins with F, ends with OFF, and you probably wouldn't like it.

did you introduce you're self in the newbies section when you found us?.
did'nt anyone welcome you and give you a pearl of wisdom along the lines of "hope you have thick skin and a good sense of humour".
this is a real life down to earth forum, we dont stand on cerimony or put on airs and graces (well most of us ).
plenty of other LR forums if you have'nt got either of the above
