Want to get FL1 XDi later this year :)

Might get this for much less than a grand . Needs new doors , oterwise it looks ok . That is if theres documentation to prove the mileage is genuine .

That would be a good project but it has no HDC, I want HDC to be honest & I want a 3 door hardback preferably. I think September or maybe before I will have the money for one!

Cheers, that is helpful, I think it will depend on the mileage of the vehicle to be honest. I want to pollybush everything anyway as they last forever pretty much. By the way, different subject but are Britpart to be avoided? I have read many things on the internet about them to be bad? I use rimmer brothers personally for my car for some parts & I know they do Freelander stuff! OEM stuff they sell.

I have had a go in two more in the last two days, a TD4 5 door an a XDi 5 door. These ones had much nicer brakes and they just feel right to me. The TD4 had the usual VCU issues & odd tyres (which I replaced with 'sunnys' :lol and it had a lake in the tool storage bit in the boot. The windows in the front were all soaked, I think the window seals are leaking or the sunroof. The XDi was tidy, the prop & VCU I removed the other week, again a lake in the storage bit. When I was reversing it I braked an heard a knocking/clunking noise from the rear, my guess would be the diff mounting bushes? I changed the ARB drop links on that, wasn't too hard to do! I really like them and I find them easier to park than my little 25 :lol:, I think I am definitely getting one now!
