Want to fit Grey lidded Towing Socket !

Has the Discovery 2 got spare wires / Sockets behind the light units to easily fit the Grey lidded socket .Is there a font of all Knowledge who can Help with this enquiry ?

I fitted my (Genuine Land Rover) 12N and 12S kits to my Discovery II yesterday.

The 12N electrics (stop/tail, indicators, fog lights) pickup from a 9-way sealed connector behind the RH body-mounted tail light -




7 connections are used by the 12N Socket, the other two connections are used by the 12S kit to pickup Reverse Lights (Green/Brown) and a Permanent Fused Live (Purple/Brown)

Power for Caravan Battery Charging and Caravan Fridge are taken from an ignition switched live at the under-bonnet fuse box, via a Voltage Sensitive Switch, a couple of relays and a long loom run along the chassis.
