Wales trip 2nd -3rd june

A bunch of us went to wales for a laning trip with camp out over the weekend , found some cracking lanes with stunning views .
Some of us had some probs ranging from overheating , fuel leak , not charging , excessive wheel bearing play , snapped anti roll bar bracket , popped springs and no difflock due to snapped link rod that I fixed with a tent peg .

We get to the end of Strata and get held up by a Gaylandyer with a flat tyre with no way of jacking it up high enough .... Cracking of jokes start here

We did offer to nudge it out the way then burn it , but wasnt allowed to so I lent them my jack insted . I couldnt beleave it done strata with the doors still attached !!!!!

very wet night spent in the tents but food, company, views and green lanes were all brilliant. great weekend away can't wait for the next one. and (cracking) of jokes is the right word considering the 3rd from last piccy, freelander driver making an ass of himself lol
oh a big thank you to sypher to sorting out the route and leading the group

some time in august for us north yorkshire boy's and we wil put the sheep back were we got them from lol

Cracking pics mate looks like you all had a brilliant weekend, i'm blessed that i live in Gods Country and them lanes are on my doorstep and its nice to see the Land Rover fraternity stopping to help a less than capable silver thing!! they should remove all badges from the gaylanders and put something like a TATA badge on them

Looks like you had fun. Shame you weren't allowed to adjust the freelander !
