Wading kits?

I have been going a bit crazy buying stuff ofr my 300tdi disco getting i ready for more off road. Im worried about the bellhousing and timing belt, so looking at wading kits, iv seem some just plugs you put in and take out for off road but iv seen a full kit on ebay with extended breathers the guy says you can leave these in all the time. I like the idea so i dont have to worry about it when i go out to play. Anyone got any advice before i go spending again? thanks alot

These are two entirely different things.
The Bellhousing and timing cover have holes in the bottom to allow oil and muck to drain out - unfortunately they also allow water in - so if you are going wading, it is adviseable to block these holes with plugs.
The extended breathers are for the Gearbox, Transfer box and both axles. These extend the standard breather valves up to above the water line (bulkead or in to a snorkle) so that water is not sucked into these units when immersed suddenly in cold water.
