the defender 110 hicap, i am assuming, doesnt have a gross (weight of itself+maximum load+full tank) of above 3500kgs therefore it fits into a category whereby it is charged 13.3% of its current market value as decided by revenue. now, if i check this value on their site, it gives me a figure of €2250 meaning that VRT is €299. Now, is this figure accurate or is it up to the muppet sitting behind the desk at the NCT center anyone any idea?
When you say its online at 2250, is that the vrt office value or its age related value. Either way, thats good for you but as far as insurance value, you would want it valued at a higher price (replacement price) because of the mods.
