I have just acquired a 54 plate Disco 2 TD5 - the facelift model - which, as far as I can gather is cobbled together from bits lying around the factory as BMW took over, including some which appear listed for Freelander, to replace my 2000 version!

The new one is fitted with the midline Visteon radio/CD player (a Freelander part?), which has ISO connectors, plus an ISO style female plug for a CD autochanger. I also have a Clarion radio/cassette player (ADRX4670R) plus 6 cd changer (CDC634) and lead from my old one, which plugs straight in, but then the steering wheel controls are inop.

Simply, I am looking either for:

1. the compatible type of CD autochanger plus lead for the Visteon
2. a lead which allows the Clarion changer (13 pin round plug) to connect to the Visteon (ISO type connector)
3. a lead which enables me to utilise the steering wheel controls with the Clarion radio.

I have spent hours searching the forums, ebay and various aftermarket sound specialists, but can't seem to find anything listed which I am sure will be right.

Any help much appreciated.

BMW had already done a runner when your Disco was built. Landrover was owned by Ford
