Almost certainly NOT.

I think they run in opposite directions for a start.

This might mean the threads on the bosses are different handed.

ok. just found this on ebay which suggested otherwise

I just took the fan off my TD5 Disco because it isn't needed in winter AT ALL.

The fan turns ANTI-CLOCKWISE - the opposite way from the engine, and has a RIGHT HAND thread on the boss.

I think you will find the 200 / 300 tdi fans turn the SAME WAY as the engine (clockwise looking from the front) and have a LEFT HAND THREAD on the boss.

Although the 300tdi and 200tdi viscous fans have the same thread and direction of travel the fan from a 200tdi will not fit a 300tdi. The nut doesn't protrude far enough forward as we found out recently when we went to put MHM's 200tdi viscous onto Disco71's 300tdi.

Just be careful if you get snow as a lot of slow hard work driving may cause the engine to overheat - especially if you get snow building up against the grill

My one is a Disco TD5, not a 200/300 tdi.

The point was to remind folk that there are LEFT HAND THREADS involved in 200/300 tdi fan bosses.

I have :D
I cut the fin's down as they was hitting the power steering box but it still works.
You can have it, why do you want one (stupid question I know). I fitted a Mondeo fan on a switch and turn it on IF I need it.

why were they hittin the PAS box? cos ive got a 200tdi to go in a def 90 and the previous vehicle had an electric fan so thers no viscous fan on the 200tdi

Yep, just a little bit to long.
Fan is a long back from the rad, so it blows air on nothing. It's winter anyway and if you do want one come the summer stick a electric one on, but I have one if you want it
