the $%^ing viscous fan is on tight.

If you get the corner of the nut hit it just enough to shock it on the corner hitting downward clockwise with a chisel and hammer might just break the nut then carry on with spanneryep using a viscous fan spanner 32/36mm..
when i get it off ? getting a bit ahead of the game there grit.. gotta get the damn thing apart first.
the wife already fell about laughing at my facial contortions in trying to undo it. I'm thinking i need more leverage, hence asking if anyone has a pulley lock too in the guildford area.
going to try having a cup of tea and staring at it to see if that helps...either that or get some heat on it by way of napalm.
unfortunately Grit, it apprears that someone previous has done the same thing.one face of the V/F nut is scored with chisel marks.
i dont want to round off or damage the nut and result in a world of hurt . i'm thinking the pulley tool is the only option here
