viscous fan for the p38?

Quick question, is the viscous fan from the p38the same as from the BMW engine in the omega, 325 & 525? Got to Wexford last night and noticed the temperature was creeping up when I was going slowly through towns

i read your post and grrrrrr........ dont like the head idea!!

i topped up the system with water (maybe 4/5 lts) and went in to town for shopping was in traffic and no sign of the heat getting above normal.

so hoping maybe the water was low??

If you topped up with four or five litres it was low, believe me it was low.

if you have to by a new viscous fan I wood take a look or give www.koed.dk a call . I spoke with them last week an he told be that he have found the viscous fan for a range rover 2,5 dse p38 to less than haft the prise . and it was a org part
 
i wood agree . unless the radiator is leaking an you refill often
