Virgin Landrover 90 owner

Hi everyone, just bought myself a project 90 1985 2.5 Diesel. I had a quick look round and so far I need bulkhead repair panels (got them), rear crossmember (got that), 2 outriggers (got them), battery box, rear safari door, power steering box (this one is badly leaking) and a radiator (this one has had a new electric fan pinned through the fins and the fins are now damaged. If anyone has any parts that may help please let me know. Also, although the engine starts first turn I cannot select high gear, only neutral and low ( I haven't tried locked yet). The gear linkage is moving but I don't know what to look for. Any help would be much appreciated. Finally, although the outer sills are still ok the inner ones are shot as are the triangular thingies at the bottom of the door posts. Any advice or replacement parts again much appreciated. Hi and welcome, you are keen to do a ground up rebuild I see.

Now, about your other problem, sadly prostitution isn't yet legal here in the UK but I can highly recommend a trip to St. Truiden in Belgium, when you get there look for the army base, there is a road about 5km long with hookers on both sides dancing in the windows, take your pick and boogy on down

Tee hee - sod the rebuild, I think I'll keep my pennies for a trip to Belgium ;-)

Hi troops, 2 weeks in after buying my first 1987 defender 90 Td 2.5 and I love the beast. Looking to plan road trip and recommendations on roof top tents or awning/tents as well as roof racks as they are fecking expensive.
