chequer plate ordered for the tub to hide all the damage that is on it, i can beat it back into shape with my planishing tools then rivit these on to hide the damaged paint - cheaper than a respray and its used chequer plate so it was nice and cheap!

well thats a blasting cabinet ordered - got a pretty big one as i want to fit various defender parts in it
Thought that it would help with the job as i hate cleaning up parts with a wire brush! and if im going to get this project done i might as well refurb any parts that i fit

Hand wire brush and various cups/brushes on the grinder for me still.
What did you get? Plenty of pics when you're using it - I might have to get one!

260 ltr internal capacity one, not massive but big enough for parts up to about 80cm long. Which covers most things. If i get into it ill build a bigger one.
Need to finish sorting out my workshop a bit more, finally get the vac former up and running properly (so i can make some parts for this build)
just waiting on a few more bits ive sold to go now

I also need to understand how you manage to find all of these vehicles, because we have a distinct lack of such things over here and any that are around fetch top dollar all the time!
