Hi guys I have a 3rd party amp I am trying to implement into my Nexus 7 head unit installation , it works when wires to a speaker outside of the car but will not output sound inside the car , please see video . Thanks in advance,

I might be barking up the wrong tree, but when using my computer to play through my dac into my amplifier then home speakers I had to go into the settings in the computer to switch to external amplifier and speakers,
Maybe your tablet is similar

strange thing is i have just connected 2 mini speaker cones to the third party Amp and they work and play music. . i think what is happening is

Tablet> OTG> USB-DAC> AUX-CABLE> ThirdpartyAMP> Speakerwire to LR-AMP> Speakers

I need to Eliminate one of the amps i think they are Cancelling each other out , but that means trying to add AUX input or RCA input to the LEAR land rover amp ( and can this even be done?) and connect tablet straight to it
OR
Completely removing the Stock Amp cutting and splicing to install third party amp that has AUX and RCA standard ( I dont Fancy this method)

Hi, in my opinion this isn't going to work! The LR amp under the passenger seat needs a switched enabling signal which came from the original head unit, see my post #13 on your previous thread. If you managed to supply the switched enable signal, the output of your ThirdpartyAMP would be much too high for the LR amp. You can't take the output from your USB-DAC to the LR amp because the DAC o/p is "single ended", the LR amp needs a differential i/p and the DAC o/p signal level *may* be too low anyway.

My guess is that your only viable option is to "bypass" the LR amp, i.e. i/p to o/p at its multiplug. I would guess if you tried to use the cabling from the dash and put your amp under the seat, as it's not screened you would pickup too much interference.

Sorry not to be able to provide better news:(
