Freelander 2 (LR2) Very strange problem, need advise.

Have a 2008 Freelander 2 V6 3.2 petrol engine.
After few meters driving vehicles loss power gradually till bareilly engine stay on.
No fault codes in any module.
Fuel pump has been replñaced with a complete new module.
Cat has been removed for this test.
MAP sensor has been replaced.
Any idea what to check next?

Yes it has been cat deleted too.
 
Total long shot but someone once told me that a neighbour of ours had a similar problem caused by a blocked fuel tank breather creating a vacuum in the tank.
Don't know if it was true or not.

It was just a thought. If the level drops to 1/4, and the transfer pump has failed, then the main pump can't pump fuel.

Fuel tank's don't have breathers, as venting vapours into the atmosphere isn't allowed now.
The space above the fuel in the tank is under partial vacuum, the vapours being drawn into the intake manifold to be burnt. ;)

Silly me, the breather is there for filling the tank. :oops:
 
Are you certain the fuel you put into the car is good? Have you checked for water in the system?
Around 30 years ago we had a Peugeot 205 diesel that got water in the fuel tank and ended up killing the HP fuel pump.
