Hi guys , I am a new member and proud owner of 51 plate TD4 :)
I just wonder if anyone could possibly tell if it's normal that relays under normal driving conditions are extremly hot ? like almost burning hot  relays in question are located in drivers fuse box ( 3 in bottom line from right to left ) ?
many thanx
Seb

what are they supplying current to?
to be honest i do not know - heated mirrors for sure ( they switch off automaticly ? ) and nothing else... is just engine running - no heater , wipers , lights, radio off and they still hot

2001 models had probs with heated mirrors not turning off - known to drain battery overnite. But it sounds like the relays in question are being overloaded.

but with what ? i am keeping all things swiched off ... any chance of posting link with diagram of all relays in drivers fuse box ? maybe changing relays to some more powerfull ones will help  thanx for any suggestions.

just coz yu are turning everything off - dont mean that everything IS off - obviously they aint. Yu could check current draw thru each relay ?
