Hi All,

I've not posted much since I sold the "beast" a few months ago, but have been getting by with a £300 volvo estate.. :D


anyway, we've got lots of travelling to do this xmas & new year - 26th till the 28th, then 29th till the 3rd. Given the horrible weather, and the places we're going, I wondered if anyone had a 4x4 (old disco perhaps?) kicking around with MOT on it? I'd happily "buy it" and sell it back, or hire it, or whatever.

Happy to give cash and/or some of our home grown pork? We've got a whole leg in the freezer which might take someone's fancy! :)

anyway, I know it's a long shot, but it might help us out a great deal. The ideal will be a 7 seater of some sort, but no worries if it's only 4/5 seats. :)

I gorra spare - with a current MOT - but yu mite need to do a bit of work on it first :D.

Yep, you can buy mine and try sell it back to me if you like. It will be £4500 to you, though. 1996 Disco 300TDi 3 door manual. PM me if interested.
 
Will a 2 seater series do the job for you? Loads of room in the back for other people and stuff though.

Can easily beat Paul's price - i'll do you it for £3,000

nah, clearly I didn't think anyone would step forward on the hire front, but I know there's few locals on here, and thought there was an off chance of one them having a working few hundred quid rusty old disco - the sort you buy in as a donor vehicle ;)

anyway, thought it would provide a giggle along the way :)

I'm also failing to fight the urge to get another defender, so this is "keeping my hand in" on LZ ;)
