Occasionally? Mine is in use daily.

I live a few miles up a 'green lane' more often a mud lane what with the weather in NE Scotland that means rain 2 days out of 3.

I have to 'perform' a 3 point turn on loose gravel / mud twice a day. Sometimes I reverse full left lock, sometimes right.

Like DD3 I've thought whether off-road or Motorway puts more stress on the VCU, as at least half my annual mileage is high speed dead staright stuff. But I can conclude nothing.

However I have to say I'm obsessive about equalizing tread wear. I never have more than 0.5mm difference between front and rear.

Yes but that is a bare minimum

I'm pretty sure yours will be in good health

As for tyre wear with the mileage you do you'll notice it more than most

Haven't pulled anything yet...checked it last year thanks all was good - just asking if it would cause any damage pulling and tugging other cars out thats all bud.
