So my vacuum pump is rattling, maybe getting worse, brake pedal is fine just the noise gets annoying!
Bought a Wabco one for a fair chunk of money, fitted it yesterday. Noise gone! Woo hoo
Go out today, managed about 50 miles and then..... No servo assistance! Rattle.....
Got back took it out and the spring appears to be broken behind the piston....
Sending it back for inspection and a refund I hope and expect.
Mean while the old pump (also Wabco) continues to work, and rattle.
Everything was clean, servo doesn't appear to leak... Am I just unlucky with this pump?
