v8 to 300tdi. A few questions.

I have searched but It just pulls up derv to v8 conversions or asking which engine to go for.:doh:
The 110 has no engine at the moment but started life as a v8, I can get a v8 and lpg kit for cheaps but I'd rather have a diesel so I can run it on oil.
So questions;
Will I need to use the complete 300 loom or splice the existing v8 loom to the 300s?
Im guessing 300 mounts bolt straight to where the current v8 mounts are?
Will the 300 bolt straight to the current lt77 box, if not is there an adaptor plate? different box?
Can I use the existing fuel lines?

What other parts will I need?

Cheers man, just an adator plate for the box to convert it or something more major? What 'diferent' box?

what box is in it now ,fuel pipes will convert push fit connectors with tail for rubber hose are good ,you need to remove pump out of tank and replace with a pipe

Its an lt77

i would swap bell housing and input shaft ,done quite a few that way engine should sit as std 300 making all pipes rad intercooler exhaust etc std v8 gearbox sits in same position as 300

cheers, what about the loom, use the whole 300 loom or splice it in with the v8? And what bellhousing and input should i use?
