Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone could post me some piccies of a V8 in a SIII - I'm in the process and wondering whats what before the grinder comes into play - if you could show me Bulkhead mods and battery stand mods.

Thanks again!

Max

Pictures ain't gunna show you ****. Even if I took pics vertically down at the rear of me injun you're not going to see what needs cutting away. Best to shave bits off as you offer the injun up (so use a good hoist that can be swung about a bit).

My battery's under the passenger seat, so no help there either.

It's a service we provide yer know. ;)

Hear wot your sayin, looking like a sausage party in an convert - its tight in there, have you got any piccies on footwell bulk head (mill I got from S2 and there was SH!T loads the guy had taken out - for xorst manifoilds both sides etc)...

...ANYWAY you want me to go all "strapon"Dave (or what ever his name was) on your ass? Gimme piccies....

Think the carpet is glued to me bulkhead so you can fark orf, I int tearing it orf fer nobody, spesh since I barely own the motor now! Big fella might oblige you by the sound of it though.

Shouldn't need any cutting away for the V8 fanny moulds in a III, but the nearside is waaaay tight against the chassis rail & inner wing. I would fit it before dropping the motor in unless you've the wings orf?

Should make life a little eaiser.....

I remember people back years ago started fitted SD1 engines in and wondered why they lost oil pressure and dumped their oil everywhere after the first serious offroad outing. Front axle clobbers the oil filter unless you move it or lower the bump stops on full articulation.
