V8 losing water not O rings

Im losing about a litre of water every two to three weeks, does anyone have ideas ? shes not overheating but there was a lot of steam starting her up at the weekend.

have a look around the thotle body, two pipes to heat it up often leek..

Curse you wisdom J. That is exactly the problem ! I had already found the problem but thought I would post this up to see how many V8 haters waved the slipped liner / head gasket sword that everyone seems to draw when a water problem is tendered.

sorry mate tis about £10 for the little alloy bit to fix it, gone on ask how the fooook i know that.. lol hahahahahahaha

Yep my water loss was the pipe running from the reservoir to the throttle body heater.It had chaffed through to a small hole ,where the pipe ran behind the alternator area.Took me a while to find it though
