Hi all, got a bit of a situation with my 1997 disco v8
Got oil deposits in my expansion tank , indicating head gasket failure.
Car still has all it's power and would like to know what I would be looking at money wise to repair.
Any information and advice would be appreciated

cost of gaskets and some skin if you do it yourself if its not pressurising its oil feed near water way so not likely cracked block
 
Not loosing coolant externally but you can hear it bubbling while running, then once cool and check levels, have to out approx litre back in
 
the best thing to do is check gaskets when heads removed ,your looking for staining ie fire ring should be clean all the way round black colour means its letting combustion gas through
