I asked this already in the Range Rover forum, so my apologies, however it's probably more relevant in here.
I'm picking up a 3.5 V8 EFI (26Dxxxx) next week. I'm aware it came off an autobox. Challenge being, no flywheel.
It's going to be mated to a series 2 gear box (so, manual 4 speed), so I know I'll need the adapter plate for it, however, I need to get a flywheel sorted. Will any V8 flywheel fit? I'm retaining the S2 bellhousing, so aware that some further jiggery pokery will be needed. Just need to sort the flywheel out else it's a non-starter, literally lol.
