V8 clutch slave cylinder on 300tdi

I would like to fit a V8 clutch slave cylinder to my 300tdi before it does my knee in. I have had the vehicle for 17 years but ever since I hit my 40s i'm becoming a nagging old fart. Is there anything else that needs to be replaced in the process? Flexi hose perhaps?

Master cylinder and flexi at the same time.

Or fit a inline servo unit that makes changing gear a non event, clutch can be pushed down with one finger,
