[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]I know of a 3.9 injection Disco with overfuelling and poor starting problem. If coldstart is disconnected, it is better, but when it cuts out it wont restart easily - any ideas as to what this could be?

Cold start ? They dont have one,sounds like the vac pipe for the fuel pressure reg has split and fallen off.

Had similar symtoms with my RR 3.5 plus when it did start there was loads of black smoke turned out be a duff ECU.

Are all the electrical connections and wires to the various bits & bobs around the engine ok?
