Wow this is a nice welcome to a forum, I thought I was joining a forum for people with similar interests, not a place to talk tough when you are hiding anonymously behind your computer. Thanks, I will go and find some people who don't live in the parent's basement and are fully grown to help me. Bye losers.

Where does it say anyone here has to hold your hand and reply to all stoopid questions you could answer your self with a bit of research??

Similar interests? yes we have! you on the other hand on the face of it do not!

Who's tough talking??

Why would you want to be fully grown? Does that mean you aspire to be a fat git??

Put your dummy back in, roll with the punches and smile like you mean it :D

Oh and
:welcome2:

I was asking for opinions not insults, suggesting I only wanted to her one thing is stupid, you could have said what you said without insulting me at the same time. I don't expect you to understand because when you stand outside the local shops with your friends trying to buy cheap beer with fake IDs you probably think its clever to talk to each other this way. Good luck with that attitude.

go here LR4x4 - The Land Rover Forum

they'll be polite and ask you were you live, what color your eyes are and if you'd like to buy their tee shirts

3 months later they'll get round to telling you not to buy a V6 Freelander

Nah!! Feck it what's the point?

Hi, I have no experience of a v6 freelander but have experience of the engine in a mg zt, I had the car for 4 months and thankfully purchased a warranty with it, spent almost £1500 on engine repairs, all based around cooling issues, it thanked me by eventually blowing a head gasket! the repairing garage seemed genuine being an audi/vw specialist so never doubted their word so just be careful, look for receipts of head gasket replacement, etc. Don't know whether the engine has same issues in a freelander as it did in a tight engine bay like my MG did as it got hot in there real quick. Buy a good one and enjoy the noise it makes when on song!

Calm those jets there Isy lad. They're trying to tell you not to buy the V6 because of the reliability. They're also trying to say do a search on the forum & you'll find lots of relevant info. about these engines. If you're really stupid, you'll go off in a huff & miss out on a good opportunity to get some really good help from guys who know there stuff but you'll have to get used to getting the **** ripped out of you cause you want to join us Freelanderers.

my opinion, it's nothing to do with fuel economy. You buy a Freelander on what is likely to be the more reliable option & that is a well maintained diesel model.

If you're still here then welcome. If not then shame but you'll miss out.

If you are only doing low mileage then you might be ok but do lots of research. Dont expect explosive performance, the auto box hampers it apparently so they say i do believe!

Cos when we are driving our comfortable draught and leak free freelanders with well lit dashboard controls and belting hot heaters, we have time to dwell on how bad these vehicles are(nt), and where the next patch of chassis to weld will be....
About time people started to realise freelanders are actually not bad little motors....:)
