Hi guys got a v6 auto that not keen on changing gear for first 10mins on cold mornings only so i,m going to drop the oil managed to get the correct replacement bolt and washer for for sump but dont know what type of transmission oil i need

According to Rave its Texaco N402...or equivalent, when I tried to find alternative so didnt have to pay main stealer prices apparently there isnt one.

Cost about £10 a ltr from main stealer:mad:

Let me know if you do find alternative

Jatco boxes are programmed to delay until oil warms. If it delays too much I overide it using Steptronic. 10 minutes though seems excessive to me.
Don't use other than specified fluid, note the term fluid not oil.

cheers guys appreciate the replys couldn,t get an alternative so ordered n402 from local garage

Be sure it is N402 as the only place I could get it without buying 25ltr at a time was through landrover main stealer....was informed same through all my local suppliers and independents
