P38A V5 information

Hi, I am due to collect a1995 P38 4.0 auto Lhd. There are some details missing in the V5 as it has been imported in the past. The seller has agreed to organise for these details to be added. Please could somebody send me a copy of their V5 for a 4.0 auto? Obviously I don't need or want your personal details or VIN so you can redact these. Just the engine details, emissions, etc.

Go to google type in "what's a v5c look like" then go to images, you will see lots of examples

A lot of the details will be missing for a vehicle of that age.
I have a v5 to hand for a 98 car, the only details completed are:

This is a UK reg from new

Its the newest version, i bought this vehicle in July. I'd imagine only a brand new vehicle would have most of the boxes filled

You might find that lot on a French Carte Gris, but I have never seen that much info on a UK V5.

Ring the main dealer. With the VIN they should be able to get the full build-spec for your vehicle. A member on here can do it too.

Just curious but why do you need them on the V5... if car was imported from say Portugal to UK a lot of those details wouldn't be on the livret so wouldn't be transferred...

I want to export the vehicle abroad and they are quite keen to see correct details on the paperwork. For example the wrong cubic capacity for the engine is on the V5. Apparently it is possible to change/correct this. Engine number is listed as 'not known' power is listed as '23kW', no emisions, mass, etc

I have one for a 98 auto will dig it out later and photo it... it's for RHD and won't be going back to UK so not bothered about details on it...

As another thought will you not need a CoC from Land Rover for matriculation in your country which has the info... and also an export cert from dvlc...
