uv has slight play

had mot done got a few advisorys most i can do but a couple im not sure about, this is one.... lower steering column uv has slight play, i believe but could be wrong, that i can adjust this with the steering box, adjuster, but how do i tell when i reach stage of no play in uv, dunno how to c if i have play in first place..... any help much apreciated:doh:

If the play is in the uj itself, it needs a new one , the steering box can be adjusted if thats where the play is.

the exact wording on the advisory is lower steering column universal joint has slight play, dont know if that is of any use??

Buster did a "how to" on steering column UJs - do a search.
