Sorry guys, usual tyre questions I'm afraid but I'd appreciate a second opinion

Thinking of maybe getting a set of Cooper ST Maxx tyres for the TD5, anyone had any experience of these tyres and are they any good?

I'm hoping to increase the under-diff clearance, so will 265/70 16 tyres fit on standard D2 alloys with no bodywork modifications/suspension lift?

Nope, it's my daily driver and I don't want to overmod/wreck it so want a good all round tyre - the Coopers caught my eye....
Tbh I'm not looking to do the hardcore stuff anymore (got bored of fixing it afterwards), just go out for the day and enjoy some laning with mates ;)

frined of mine has pca42 has ST MAXX on his 90. on a recent trip out on a friends farm they seemed to perform perfectly only time he struggled was when it got to some sticky relativly deep mud, and even then he never got stuck just gave it a bit more go juice. had no problem doing what i did and i have STT's on. on the road they grip really well. never heard a complaint.
