USB & Radio not working

Hello - thanks in advance for any help...
The USB power and radio have stopped working on our 2012 Freelander 2.

Radio screen still works but only displays LR logo and allows set up functions; pressing Radio / CD buttons doesn't do anything...interestingly the USB has stopped working when I plug in a phone charger so wonder if something has 'tripped'?

Hi, I've had a similar issue with my FL2 2011, Although mechanically the 2011/12 were the best made in the range to date assured to me by an independent landrover specialist.
I thought his comments must carry some weight, however the sat nav/ Infotainment system becomes the irritable itch you can't quite reach for all our FL community.
My problem started about a year and half ago, driving to work on a miserable wet morning, from nowhere Radio, nav all media system shut down then rebooted. radio came on with no loss of stored station, but my sat nav when booting up shows the lr logo then screen goes blank (white background) , endless search through various forums,. only thing i haven't changed so far is the dvd rom under the drivers seat, a bit reluctant as i read if they get knocked it can damage them, so i stick to my phone maps plus more accurate.

Thanks for this - our system isn’t as sophisticated, we don’t have sat nav on it. At least yours rebooted - mine just doesn’t do anything so no radio anymore... did you do anything to reboot, eg disconnect the battery etc?

Have you checked the fuses?

If the fuses are ok, then try a vehicle reset, by removing the battery negative connection for a few minutes.

Thanks - going to get my husband to disconnect battery and check fuses this weekend. Would you need a code for the radio when the battery is reconnected? Not sure I have one...

No codes to enter on HU. It should just power up after the battery is reconnected.
