urgent....need lt230 1:1 ratio

hi, new to forum,proberly posting in wrong place, but need to get hold of lt230 !:1 ratio, ie off an early 3 speed auto rangie..

will collect..am in london

help...

(will post up in wanted and introduce myself abit latter(fill in profile etc) when get back from shopping..mrs glaring at me at present..)

ok then..reason for needing in such a hurry...

1972 rangie..fitted with lt95 up to tuesday, when after fitting an lt95 a couple of weeks ago (sold to me as a1)that turned out to be shagged i replaced with a brand new recon lt85..

that also turns out to be shagged...!!so i took car up to gearbox rebuilder man and shouted alot..so this wednesday he taking car in removing box..doing rebuild properly and putiing back in..

now i fitted onto the lt85 an ashcroft disco2 lt230..but its too low geared for the car ...so as he got to remove lt230 to get to lt85 i will be giving him a 1:1 ratio lt230 (if i can get one in time) and he will be fitting it f.o.c.

so hense the urgency..after wednesday i will have to do it,and i dont want to..not again, 3 gearboxs in and out within a mnonth is enough thank you....

oh the rangie runs a toyota quad cam 4l v8 (about to be supercharged)

Cant help you Zen but seen the pics of car elsewhere, supercharged lexus in a rangie you dont like life easy do you!!

Give Ashcroft a ring in Luton/Dunstable. They may even give you a trade-in on your old box.

yep headliner all cut up and put back in..now has a dirty great big full lenght webasto in it..lovely..just need the sun now.lol..
