Based on the helpful posts from my other post I need to replace the upper top mount bearings. Can someone answer

1. DO I replace both sides or can I just replace the defective side?

2. I have been able to source the bearing, but I might order the spring seat, top mount and bearing so that I have all possible parts. Does this seem a waste or could it be more than just the bearing?

Anyone know where I can source these parts from online as I can only find the bearing.

Thanks

personally i would replace them as a pair and by the looks of it the genuine land rover ones are just a few pounds more and seeing youve got to take a few bits apart might be better to replace the hole bearing , plate complete so u only have to do it once

i recently done my rear suspension, it only had one broken spring, but i replaced both springs, shock absorbers so that i didnt have to worry

hope that helps a little bit

I'd do just the failed bearing. They don't fail that often so early failure is likely due to some irregularity with that bearing.
I can't see the point in double the work, particularly if the other bearing is fine anyway.
