Well I've done it, I've gone out and put a deposit down on a td5 s 5 seater so no electrics no airbags just hdc, no sunroofs to leak pristine undercarriage and towbars like new, just gettin some waxoylin sorted and picking up thurs, so different to a 300, and that burble..... Straight through might be an option lol altho first will be lights and reinstalling difflock

Congrats on the new motor, not my cup of tea, but good on ya for finding a clean non sunroof, non airbag model..

Tbh if I could find a gs or a es ( the spec my 300 is) it'd be nice but tbh I don't need electrics around cowmuck n mud and tbh the handfull I looked at this ones shell was by far the tidiest if not spotless!! Oh and the price was a peach

so I'm willing to shirk creature comforts I don't really need like leccy front seats lol just another thing to malfunction ih and it comes with a parrot handsfree, that'll keep me out of trouble drivin to Carlisle every so often

The td5 seats switchs are much better then the break all the time 300es ones.
Look on the bright side no water leaks for you lucky git.
If you have a feel on the top front of the tfer box you will know whether its just a simple job or new tfer box time, iirc 200 to 2002/3 didnt have the diff lock guts fitted to the boxs.
