It was bound to happen, it was my fault for creating a thread entitled "I think my luck is finally changing".

Enjoying the euphoria of finding the rear quarter leak and hopefully fixing it, searching endless adverts for changing my wheels, I finally felt like I was the one in control of this relationship but noooooo, the RR is and always has been in firm control of my destiny (and wallet).

Waiting for some rain on Tuesday (it never came, who could have put money on that in England?) to see if my leak was sealed (I was on my own all day so couldn't do the hose pipe trick), I thought I'd tackle the DSP again and try and repair the damaged tracks. Very carefully I tinkered with the electrics and cables all while humming to myself thinking I was in charge. After a couple of tries, I was failing miserably so it was best to leave it until the weekend when I have more time.

Wednesday morning ......

Up for work, dog in car, key in ignition, well that sounded like a sloppy turnover but it fired up and roared into life. Ho hum, maybe the old dummy had been spat out as I was in charge again. Oh rangie, my how you do have a sense of humour.

Out of the drive, up the traffic lights, right indicator on and ...... nothing. Bugger. I gingerly drove to work waiting for the HDC EAS Trans failsafe failures to come up but nothing. I had to take the long way to work where I didn't have to use my indicators, I could have done without that in a V8! Pulled up at work in a foul mood, waited for everyone to leave and brought the car into the warehouse.

Eh? The indicators work, it's just the dash that isn't showing them on. Double eh? No reverse lights hence no reverse sensors but the left mirror still dips. Strange ......

Straight onto this forum and Google and it looks like it's not an unheard of problem. My symptoms don't seem too bad though, tailgate works, brake lights work etc.

Survived the day at work, even with the most intense scowl on my face. Jumped into the car at the end of the day and nothing. Dead, nothing, nadda, zip. Up I look to the heavens wondering what I have done to deserve this and the bloody interior lights are on, all three of them! My bouncy two year old Dalmatian must have been a tad giddy when I got out in the morning she's headbutted all the buttons which is quite a skill.

Quick jump start and I'm on my way - scowling again, Gordon Ramsay would have looked at my forehead and thought that's a bit much. Even all the things I've read about the horrors of jump starting went out of my head as I just wanted to get home. I should have been quite lucky as most of the electrics are disconnected in the back anyway.

Back on the drive and a quick printout off google about some indicator relays and I'm back poking around in rear. A bit of variety though as I've been sorting out the near side leak, offside electrics now. Now even if you put a gun to my head I couldn't tell you if the relay was blown or not as in my forty years on this earth, I've never seen a relay before especially a blown one. Oh well, just in case I've hurt something playing around with the wiring on Tuesday I pulled fuse 49 so that should eliminate some possibilities. A nervous nights sleep is to follow ......

Up a bit early this morning with the possibility of a lift in off my wife or going on my motorbike (oh and it's raining today of course) and it started on the button!!!!

I foresee a day of Googling and reading really helpful answers off you lot (hint hint)

Didn't know there were realys for the indicators as they are controlled via the LCM....

EDIT: Circuit diagram attached, no relays in the lighting circuit for the indicators!

lcm gave me issues a few months back, it decided to leave the brake lights on (or so i thought), even with the ignition off, so the car failed it's 'check' and wouldn't let me turn the key in the ignition, other lights were also misbehaving, pulled the lcm out, carefully pulled it apart and sprayed the board with servisol, left it to dry overnight. and hey presto it worked, the brake lights was a strange one because that was down to the pedal switch moving back in it's holder no idea how or why, clicked back forward and it's been fine since. my only guess with the lcm was it somehow got wet causing issues

Flip knows what I was pulling out last night then!!!!

I've got a google image that points to the fuse board on behind the offside rear panel and it said check the big relay top left, fuse bottom left and a white connector above the relay.

Just found something else about a little gadget under my passenger side seat.

Knowing my luck, I've probably sealed the leak so good in the rear I've sent all the water to the front

Hey Saint. Where can I get these from? What software do you use or can you share the PDFs?
