Unusual find at car boot sale

Me and the Mrs went to the local car boot sale today and in amongst the broken toys, pikeys and Poles we found this little beauty. No idea how much they want for it, but there was a magazine on the dash showing in a Landy magazine. Looked very beefy









Other than a small gob of rust to the right of the rear no. plate it looked the mutts nutts

Not much call for an Ice truck at the moment though is there?? Is that Portmadog Football field??

On the Subject of carboots went to one in Yeovil and bought 2 Black plastic ex MOD water carriers & another ammo Box got all 3 for £13..

I know it well been a few times myself.

looks good, but pretty unusable in UK. He's probably had second thoughts about driving a Disco onto the middle of a glacier and is selling it to fund buying a Toyota.

What's the story with this landie? I saw this on ebay a few months back and he wanted some insane amount of money for it. Didn't the guy that owned it used to be a member on here?

No idea on it's background, just saw it in the carpark The telephone number is in the Whitchurch area , dunno if that helps. I said to the Mrs he'd probably want silly money for it. 10k you reckon ?

Used to live in Tan-Y-Grisiau (Blaenau Ffestiniog)

I'm sure I saw it in LRO a while back. what makes me think it's the same was the guy concerned was in iceland, and there was 2 articles, the first was just showing what mods he'd made (big wheels etc) and the second was about running it on hydrogen with an on board hydrogen generator. maybe 2 different vehicles though, but deffo seems familiar.
