Some time ago there was a suggestion about folk bringing along spare bits
and bobs that were not realistically saleable through the usual channels,
for a bit of a swap/sell/WHY at the unofficial.

I've had a trip to the skip with a lot of heavy stuff, but I still have a
pair of side-steps for a Disco 1 that I need to get rid of. If anyone is
interested, post here and I will bring them along for a small consideration
of beer tokens. A bit bulky to bring along "just in case".

replacement side steps are on the list of "to do" for our disco.

BTW, on the same subject...

If any of you have bent track rods, I've a use for short lengths of LR track

Yes, no damage and they clean up nice and black. No brackets (I CBA to take
them off, then the car went) but they wouldn't be hard to make up.

Thinking about it, I have a couple of bits of SIII exhaust: later type front
pipe and station wagon type rear pipe and silencer.

Try this place, spoke to the owner this evening, he wasn't sure how they
were booked as his wife sorts that out (he thought they might be booked, but
his wife would be able to give alternative accomodation details). He said to
ring and tell him your name and number and that you are to do with me
(Graham Gleed) and he would pass the info to his wife to contact you. Be
warned he is a nice chap, but very much old school, you will need to be
polite and curteous else he will be bloody awkward, which is fair enough as
far as I'm concerned. They will answer the phone in the evening, but not
late, they prefer to opperate in the daytime (he tells me he often gets
calls at 11 at night!). You will do well if you can get a room as its in a
lovely setting and the rooms are lovely!

I'm wondering if we'll need/want any generators?

I could bring my 'silent' Honda, however it would be even 'silenter'
if we all use mains.

Right basically speaking we can cater for about four hook ups. I would be
concerned about overloading wiring to have many more than that. However, if
we need more, its not beyond the wit of man as I'll simply move a couple of
vehicles to a different location on the farm to near some other buildings to
give a couple more points. Wouldn't have thought generators would be needed,
however it wouldn't be a bad idea to have atleast one just in case...

Don't need sbt as in a barn. If anyone has a gas patio heater (that is safe)
it would be useful (but not essential). I will need to get a gas bottle for
ours, but if someone has an urge to donate one it would be appreciated (red
15kg? the one thats about 3ft by 1.5 ft).

Have confirmed everything with the various parties so everything is go!

Incidentally, just so I don't get moaned at, Sunday lunch has gone up
slightly (I got the prices wrong) its £7.50 for main and £3.95 for desert
(not £6.50 and £3.50 as previously indicated), hope thats okay.
