UJ Removal

In the process of refurbing propshafts for my 200tdi 90.
Got the UJs out of one by hitting through with socket and hammer, ready to fit new ones.
Other one they are seized solid, got circlips out but can not budge the UJs, Got No fancy press, or heat or anything, just working out in the street.
Any Ideas of how to get them out???

support one yoke and hit the other down using a copper hammer or piece of wood and ordinary hammer the spider pins should then force each cap out in turn

cut through uj with a grinder then you can knock one side out at a time. whack back and forth rather than one way only. plenty of wd40.

Dont have a grinder but can try the other 2.
Have not even got a vice, been spraying with plenty of wd40 the last few nights so maybe be a bit easier tomorrow.

Thanks James. They are really seized in there but hopefully the wd40 will have loosed things up a bit overnight, will give this way a go tomorrow.

You can get to a point where the hammering distorts the prop yokes, in that case best course of action is a new prop.
Ive changed truck u/js on the road side and like all prop u/js without a vice its an arsehole job!

Managed to get them out with hammer and socket.

Got 2 new ones on one of the props, right faf on it was, will get the other one done tomorrow.

OK, Nearly there but one of the yokes is damaged, no good to use.
Ive got a 300tdi spare propshaft, will one of the yokes from this go onto my 200tdi shaft???
