Oh! That one :D

Yes, that one! :)

As for the boat, it looks quite high value, so probably worth saving.
Probably the best plan would be to tow it slowly into a sheltered place, and stick the suction pipe of a macking great pump, mounted on another boat, into it, and pump it out. Might be an idea to attach some large buoys to it first, extra flotation, just in case it decides to plummet to the bottom.
It should rise up slowly in the water as it empties, and can then be dried out in the usual manner and off you go.

Familiarity breeds contempt. ;):D
Last night I took battery out to sort light bulbs. Put battery on pavement. Had to move it when a lady pushing a double buggy struggled to get past it. Must had turned it 180° and heaved it back into battery bay and reconnected. Pyrotechnics certainly woke me up. I shouldn't have even started it under streetlights. In my case, familiarity spawned stupidity...in spades!

There you go @Mark Piercy boat not deraiIled ;)

Assuming the pic is some time ago, I imagine something similar has been done already.

I don't trust you lot as regards boats. @Jon Dor still hasn't posted the pics of his barge in AG!
My Apple MacBookAir's SSD died about a month ago...you know, the one I paid an arm and a leg for to escape the unreliable world of PC's & laptops running Windows!! Seems that whilst it was backed up daily, I hadn't set it up to back up all my photos and lots legal docs n stuff. I just bought a second hand MacBook Pro and restored it from MacBookAir's last back up expecting it to give me my world back. It didn't. After tomorrow's surgery, I'll get the camera's busy and post some for you.

Moral of the story: Don't buy Apple* ;)

Many, many, many, years ago, when I lived in Dortmund, my dentist was called Apple :D

I have something like this. You can pick them up for about £20 on a well known website famous for selling books:

https://www.ledlenser-store.co.uk/head-torches-c71/h3-2-led-head-torch-p952

I always have an LED worklamp in the glovebox and a spare little LED torch in the cubby hole too. Been lifesavers in the past.

I've got a rechargeable one which was on charge unfortunately. I'd already decided to look at the bulb the following morning, but it was niggling me that of the two new bulbs I'd fitted, one wasn't working. I should have just left it...

I have both a head-torch and very powerful torch in both cars, but as I expected to just wiggle the bulb connection, I didn't use them. Just dumb!

I have a camera I have carried all over the world. I've taken almost no photos and when I last went to use it I realised the battery was flat and I must have left the charger in some hotel somewhere!
