U bolt replacement parts question

My 2a has Parabolic springs and when it went for MOT the U bolts were not clamping on the axle fully as the bolt had run out of thread.
The question is where can I get U bolts that will fit?
I was goint to add a thicker washer but the nuts are reluctant to move and I would rather not completely screw it up by breaking the bolts!

Thanks for the reply, I just thought they would be different due to not having a massive amount of leaves in the spring to clamp.

Ah i see....I'm with you now :doh:

Yes para u bolts are shorter and you need to specify when ordering that they are for paras though I think modern replacements have a longer theaded portion to allow for fitment of either.

It's possible your u bolts were re-used when it was converted paras. All the big Landy supplers will know what your talking about if you give em a ring

Paddocks sell them for Parabolics

Just spoke to the guys at Famous Four and they have compared them with standard and they seem to be the same.

Looking forward to getting them and getting it back on the road.
