Hi, after some advice please, recently acquired a disco 4 (2011) I mainly do road driving but want to try some green lane driving. I currently have 255/50/r20 tyres on and wish to change to some AT tyres, I like the look of the Grabber AT3 but they are 255/55/r20. Is it possible to fit these bigger tyres on without any modifications, would they rub anywhere and would it effect my speedo, thanks

Welcome fellow Manc to the zoo. Where do you hail from. I'm in North Manchester.

Hi I’m over in Ashton under Lyne.
I have been looking at various threads and noticed 19’’ would offer better selection, unfortunately it has 20’’ and can’t afford a set of extra wheels as much as I would like to.
Which was why I was wandering if 255/55/r20 would fit with no issues

How awful for you A-U-L. I'm in New Moston noted for being a by-pass to Chadderton via Failsworth. At night time we close the barrier off on Broadway so the locals can go naked running between houses.:D

Hi there and welcome to the zone!
The bigger size you mention will mean you're doing 31 in a 30 limit. While it's not much, is illegal to have a speedo show less than your actual speed.
That's on the assumption 255/50R20 is the correct size to start with
