tyres for TD5 90 CSW

Hi

I want to replace my Pirrelli Scorpion AT, 235 85/16

My shortlist is General AT2, BFG AT or Goodyear Wrangler MTR ( i have had mtr before)

Most of the miles are road use, but I don't want to be stuck when I hit mud as happens with the Pirrelli's.

Any advice on the tyres?

One other query.

Should I fit the 235/85's or go for the larger 265/75's, would the larger tyres make any difference to mpg?

the 265's will create more drag, so will use more fuel and be slower in the end.

This is my problem, i know they will look better wider and I am leaning towards the Goodyear MTR's

yea but wont bigger tyres mean less revs to achieve cruising speed, because theres more circumference to the tyre?

I drive a 90TD5 on 235/80/16 General Grabbers
This is not my recommendation as Generally they Grab Nothing !!
but when you get 5 new boots when u buy the vehical u dont complain.
though i wish i had pressed for BF G's.
