So I need two new tyres for my 300Tdi.
Currently 205s all round.

If I buy a pair of 235s do I put them on the back or the front?

Any tyre recommendations for a mostly road diven Disco?

Thanks.

,
with the centre diff there shouldnt be any mechanical issues with odd sizes front to back like there would be on a series in 4wd, i dont know what the legalities are but id stick to the same size all round.

My other two tyres are like new, though, and I am as tight as our-souls.
Rolling radius should be almost like for like as both sizes are standard fit I believe - no change to the speedo.

205 80 R16 have pretty much the same rolling radius as 235 70 R16 so they would be OK I would put the bigger tyres on the back. Loads of cars have bigger wheels/tyres front/back but with landrovers being permanent 4 wheel drive it makes it complicated. It is best to stick with the same tyre size all round but you can put wider tyres (I would suggest) on the back if the all the tyres on the car have the same rolling radius. When you are looking, this site -----> http://www.kouki.co.uk/utilities/visual-tyre-size-calculator can help ensuring you maintain the rolling radius so you don't stress your diff'.
