Hi

I am new here so - hello!

I have a question which I know has been covered many, many, times and I am sure that someone will flame me for asking again, but anyway....

I have a 2004 110 with alloy wheels. I have 235/85 16's fitted and I would like to stick a set of standard black steel wheels on it. I have read about "modulars" but not sure what that means, but anyway, want to get some black steel wheels and put 255/85 16's on. I have read a number of posts that suggest that these will fit without snagging anything and without me have losing turning circle or anything. I am thinking that 16 x 7 will be the right size.

1. Am I right about this size fitting without any other adjustments / changes (I know the gearing will be higher and speedo will be out a bit)?
2. Do I need to buy the wheels with any offset? If so how much?
3. Any recommendations between BFG KM2 and MAXXIS MT762?

Cheers - I hope someone can help.

Kieran

When your speedo reads 100km/hr you're actually at 104.05

I doubt that there'll be much difference as far a gearing goes..

Thanks for the response Marmaduke.

I am really hoping that someone can tell me definitively if they will fit without snagging anything and do I need to get offset wheels.

I appreciate the help.
