Tyre Rating question

Hi Guys...looking at new tyres and narrowed down to the following for my Disco 2:

· Cooper Discoverer AT3
265/75 R16 123 R
151euro

· Cooper Discoverer AT3
265/75 R16 116 T
131 euro

The question is are the 2 different ratings of meaningful significance and worth the difference in price?

Speed rating R is 106mph max, T = 118mph. Load rating 123 is 1550kg, 116 = 1250kg.

Interesting I think, that the speed rating on both tyres is lower than LR recommends, which is H is it not? I'll stick with my Goodyears

And the note they give. "Effect on Car Insurance"
It is very important that you check your speed rating before buying tyres. Choosing a tyre with a lower rating than is appropriate for your car can invalidate your insurance.

H = 130mph - optimistic I would think, and if possible, scary!

120mph down hill no probs but then the rev limiter cuts in, autobahn of course
