well true or false smartarsey or wot ,but g13 has got it smack on, its a quirk oft the gaylander, rule of thumb all same make tyre's ,wears ont front first as soon as you can see more wear on front, change em round. . . .:)

Noted Thanks for the input. Ian you are right , Schoolboy error on my part.
Thinking of the old bikes again.
i have checked though and its not a reduction in overall gearing with the new tyres.it does seem to have been the VCU 'binding' costing me power/mpg both of which have noticably improved. As an aside the Rover Ron box that i bought to try and fix the apparent lack of power is now giving results , before i changed the tyres i was twiddling with it and it was never going to sort out the problem.

i was thinking of getting some colway AT's for mine, got them on my series 3 but was not sure about sticking them on the gaylander but i take it that you are pleased with them and they perform ok?

Sorry Gary I've been offline for a few days.

Yea.
They look great and they are quiet enough. One thing I noticed yesterday, which I've never noticed on any car before, its usually bikes, at 90 (late for an appointment) crossing white lines is a bit disconcerting. Not dangerous but a bit like being on my old honda with Bridgestone plastics on it. As I was doing 90 and don't expect to be doing that very often its not a problem.

Goin off on a bit of a tangent.....

What setting have you got your roveron box on?

Mine also seems to be provifing better results after same thing with tyres, ended up with 4 of same as you've never heard or fealt vibration like it when i put 2 new on the front!

Mick
The Colway ATs are really cheap, look good but I have no idea how they will wear. £175 for 4 delivered from tyres direct and twenty quid to fit and balance.
Ian
The Roveron box is set to..10 o'clock on the red dial and about 2 o'clock on the yellow. It hunts slightly at tickover when warm so the red is probably a bit high.
