I was looking a set of insa turbo dakar tyres, but then come across these

when i compare images the tyres above look like they come new with far more tread depth than the insas, is this the case? i know that comparing the tread depth from a few pictures is perhaps not the most accurate approach.
Does anybody have any experience of either type of tyre, i dont mind about road noise but want something useable on the roads and capable off road... special tracks are way too aggressive so i thought this tread pattern was a good compromise
