got disco 300tdi 1995, last year put 4 bfg all terrains on it, few month back noticed tracking was out due to front inside treads worn, is there any probs with handling on road if replace front tyres with muds but keep rear all terrains on, if not is it better to put muds on rear and put all terrains on front, or will it need to be muds all round. do off road on farms once a week. any advice welcome thanks:)

it is better to put mud's on rear and put all terrains on front, (land rover hand book says new tyres on the back) id put mud's all round if it was me.... or At's all round

I agree with 300tdistu, put AT's or MT's all round, not worth the potential hassle with mixing them.

OTOH, if you already have a pair of muds and think you can get more soon, then put 'em on the rear, and get some more muds ASAP.

I've never tried it but I suspect mixing them might get weird steering and handling issues.

muds all round is what i want so will save up some more, bfg muds km2, they the best, how much and are they ok on roads also
cheers:)
